Our standard
Readers use EVFusions to make purchases worth lakhs of rupees. That is the standard we write to. This policy applies to everything we publish or update from October 2026.
1. Sources
- We prefer primary sources: government notifications, manufacturer and authorised dealer price lists, regulator tariff orders and official press releases.
- Reputable news reporting is used where primary sources are not available, and is identified as such.
- Overseas specifications are not presented as Pakistani specifications. Where a Pakistani figure is not published, we say “not published”.
2. Fact, announcement and estimate
Every article distinguishes between:
- Confirmed — published by the responsible authority or manufacturer.
- Announced / proposed — stated publicly but not yet in force.
- Estimate — our calculation, with the method and assumptions shown.
3. Dates and updates
Prices and policy change. Each article shows the date it was last checked. Price pages are reviewed weekly. If information cannot be re-verified, it is marked as such or removed.
4. Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and add a dated note at the foot of the article describing what changed. Reported errors are reviewed within 5 working days, and confirmed errors are corrected promptly. Report errors through our Contact page.
5. Use of AI tools
We use AI tools to help with research, drafting and editing. Every article is checked against its sources and approved by a person before publication. AI is not used to invent prices, specifications, quotes or reviews.
6. Independence, advertising and affiliates
- No manufacturer, dealer or advertiser approves or edits our content before publication.
- Advertising is visually separated from editorial content.
- Affiliate links, if used, are disclosed on the page where they appear.
- We do not accept payment for reviews, rankings or links.
7. Images
We use manufacturer press images (credited), licensed images, or our own photographs and diagrams. Illustrations are labelled where they could be mistaken for photographs.
8. Articles published before October 2026
Our earlier articles are general explainers about electric vehicles. They were written before this policy was adopted, are not specific to Pakistan, and do not yet meet the sourcing standard above. Some carry AI-generated illustrations. We are reviewing each one and will update it to this standard or remove it.
